Complete the sacred 52km Kora (circumambulation) around Mount Kailash on this 13-day pilgrimage. This journey combines the spiritual significance of the Parikrama with comfortable overland travel via the Kodari border, guided by experienced local staff.

Day 01 :

Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel and rest. Evening briefing about the journey ahead.

Day 02 :

Kathmandu to Kodari Border

Drive from Kathmandu towards the Kodari border, crossing into Tibet. Overnight stay near the border area.

Day 03 :

Acclimatization in Nyalam/Zhangmu

Rest day for altitude acclimatization after crossing into Tibet. Short walks and hydration recommended. Overnight in Nyalam.

Day 04 :

Drive to Saga

Drive from Nyalam to Saga, crossing high-altitude terrain with views of the Himalayan range.

Day 05 :

Drive to Lake Manasarovar

Continue overland to Lake Manasarovar. First views of the sacred lake and Mount Kailash in the distance. Overnight near the lake.

Day 06 :

Lake Manasarovar rituals and rest

Full day at Lake Manasarovar for holy bath, puja, and rituals. Rest and preparation for the Kailash Kora.

Day 07 :

Darchen to Dirapuk (Kora begins)

Drive to Darchen, the base for the Kailash Kora, then begin trekking to Yamdwar and on to Dirapuk. Overnight at Dirapuk.

Day 08 :

Dirapuk to Zutulpuk via Dolma La Pass

The most challenging day of the Kora cross the Dolma La Pass (5,630m) and descend to Zutulpuk. Overnight at Zutulpuk.

Day 09 :

Zutulpuk to Darchen (Kora completed)

Complete the final stretch of the Kora back to Darchen, marking the completion of the sacred circumambulation.

Day 10 :

Drive back to Saga

Begin the return journey, driving back towards Saga.

Day 11 :

Drive to the border area

Continue driving towards the Kyirong/Kerung border area.
